Hi, my name is Laila (they/she) - it’s nice to meet you! I’m an avid documentary watcher, a lover of music, and a lesbian with dreams of running a library in a Boston brownstone. I’m a transfer student and currently a junior majoring in psychology & sociology. I am deeply passionate about the mind and its relationship to culture & socialization! Down the line, I hope to go into multicultural psych research rooted in anti-colonialism & liberation. Along with being the editor here at the Women*s Center, I’m a youth board member for the Stay Woke Organization in my hometown of Olympia, WA, and a research assistant with the Culture Assessment and Wellbeing Lab here at WSU!
